I recently purchased the Samsung 350L 3-Star Bespoke AI Refrigerator (Model: RT38DG5A4DS8HL) from Amazon during a festive sale. Previously, I was using a different brand refrigerator but was huge problems in terms of energy consumption, noise, bad odour, etc.I didn’t only manage to get a huge discount on the deal online, but ended up saving a lot of time and hustle, that would have gone in purchasing it from store.1. Oh! the Bespoke AI. It’s not just a refrigerator, it’s actually intelligent. It also provides me energy saving recommendations.2. The 5-in-1 convertible mode- I’ve converted my freezer even into refrigerator, when guests came over and I needed more space for drinks and desserts.3. The Twin Cooling Plus feature keeps the fridge and freezer compartments independent which means there’s no mixing of smells and everything remains just as fresh.4. Smart Things App- I can change the cooling modes, check the fridge status, know when the door got left open and even get maintenance alerts right from my phone, anywhere, anytime.5. The Active Fresh Filter+ ensures that there are no bad odours at all. My vegetables and dairy products last longer, and the fridge smells fresh all the time.6. I use Power Cool quite often. By the time I am done winding my grocery, the beverage is ready to be served super chill.7. Last but not least, the Digital Inverter Compressor is impressively silent. My older fridge used to make occasional buzzing sounds, but this one is whisper-quiet and the 20-year warranty on top is such a comfort.A solid 5/5 from me! 👌🏼

Truly convertible refrigerator [Surprisingly good]
Fridge and freezer are quite spacious.Convertible————–Yes, this is truly convertible. As follows :- Freezer can be converted into a fridge and also be turned off.- Fridge section can also be turned off. [So, can be used as a mini-fridge or freezer to save electricity]Cooling Power—————–Quite good.- If you come from a direct cool refrigerator, you will be amazed by how quick and low this fridge can cool. – As you can see from the images, I currently use it at -19c for the freezer since I have ice cream and 5c for fridge. Cools down normal room temp drinking water in about 20-30 mins.Initially I was skeptical as there is no door cooling like in LG and only 7 vents at the back of fridge but it is quite good, so good that I am glad i didn’t purchase LG door cooling model since it costs a bit more and consumes more electricity as well.- Twin cooling is not a gimmick, there are actually 2 separate fans with separate channels for circulating air and freezer and fridge air don’t mix.- Ice takes about 20 mins in -19c [Even ice-cream stays frost in this temp]. Really good that freezer goes till -23c not sure what would the use be.- I keep fridge temps at 5 or maybe at 3 – but the drinking water gets really cold so i prefer 5 which is perfect for storing butter, milk, curd, vegetables etc.. [And it due to it being inverted compressor it will maintain the set temperature. So, doesn’t matter if outside temp is hotter or colder , if we set 5c, 5c is what we get which is great]Space and other features—————————— As you can see from the picture the freezer is really spacious, Can fit a 1L bottle, movable icebox, 1L ice-cream boxes (2) and there is a lot of space left.- Vegetable box is Quite large as well and actually retains moisture to keep them fresh [you can see mist and few water droplets due to moisture on top of vegetable box]- The vents in the fridge section are plenty [I was initially skeptical]. And based on the temp set and indoor temp the fan speed is automatically adjusted [But if you feel for some reason is not fast enough you can enable power cool or power freeze based for either fridge or freezer which will set the fan speed to max].- The fibre based odour fiilter is I guess decent – I have not faced any odour issues, but then not sure if the odour filter had anything to do with it. [at temps lower than 10c, typical odour causing elements become dormant and are not that active so … u get the point]- You will also get a manual, on how to control the panel of refrigirator and features with a magnetic strip to stick it onto the fridge which is a nice touch.- Unlike other refrigirators, this one has a movable icebox, so you can convert the freezer to fridge and remove the ice-box and store vegetables or other items in the freezer.- Overall, really spacious – As u can see from the pictures, there is ample space for 5 member family [Please jusge me on the junk food]. Also, can’t stress this enough, the bottle shelf is really large, u can keep unusually long and wide bottles here.Heat dissipation, sound and nvh levels———————————————- The coils for heat dissipation and given in the sides and top of the refrigirator and both sides and top of refrigirator is covered in a heat sensitive textured material which gets warm to touch since it is dissipating heat.- There is absolutely no noise and vibrations that can be felt, but if the outside temp increases and heat dissipation is not happening passively, there is a fan [as u can see in the picture with the vent] which vents out the air for efficiency actively. The air being pushed out is very subtle – like it would not move a paper and doesnt make any noise, maybe a little if you put your ear near it.- The back of the refrigerator is fully covered and there is a slot of power cord which is good while shifting.- the leg of the refrigeratotor is adjustable.- There is no light in freezer cause it would break/burst due to moisture trapped inside forming ice.- The Led white light in the fridge is great offers great visiblity [None of that yellow halogen bulbs].Delivery and installation—————————– The delivery from amazon is excellent. its an open box delivery – you can and they will open the box and inspect for damage both inside and outside [Make sure every shelf, box etc .. is taped and there are no scratch marks – which might indicate that is could be a demo unit]. I got a new peice and there was no damage and in perfect condition.- Installation happened on the same day, and they plugged the refrigerator and adjusted the level using foot peg adjuster and explained all the features once i switched on.- They mentioned about extra 1 year warranty for some 800 odd bucks but i refused and stated that I had taken an acko extended warranty for about 500 bucks, they were fine with it.I think I covered almost all points. hope it helps, since when i was researching for a refrigerator, there was no proper reveiw.This refregerator is better that whirlpool 265 or 340 etc.. which is a no-brainer since the whirlpool model is not truly convertible. [the Ai mode is a gimmick, and proper temp cannot be set and compressor is only 3 step speed compressor while samsung is 7 step speed compressor].I shortlisted the LG model with door cooling and the samsung [non-curd maestro] , finally bought this samsung model [Note: even though it is a 2020 model, you will get a 2022 manufactured model only, don’t worry] because The LG Door cooling model is a bit costly, smaller in capacity and consumes more electricity [Trust me – you don’t need door cooling]Thank you.
