Awesome Fridge!
It’s an amazing refrigerator. I’ve had zero problems with this so far. The cooling is efficient and there is ample space for a household of 5.The noise is minimal, you can barely hear it functioning. The setup is easy, and the buttons are responsive. It is a bit on the bigger side and takes up considerable space. It looks premium in the kitchen. Can’t complain about the design whatsoever.Initially I had apprehensions about the glass racks. They could be bent and felt flimsy compared to the hard glass given in older refrigerators. But thankfully when I checked the standards that were used to test it by LG and the materials used I was half convinced they were fine, and now that I’ve used them for a few years, I can say I have no complaints about them.TIP: The capacity to convert the freezer into fridge is not recommended by mechanics. Overtime it’s likely to give problems. So far I haven’t needed that feature and hopefully I’ll not use it any time in future either. I’ve had a samsung fridge go bad due to constant converting. Just a helpful tip to extend the life of your fridge.

A good convertible fridge with ample storage space
Bought the convertible model for about 37K after extensive comparison with the Samsung 415L convertible model.The storage space is much better in LG than Samsung. I physically checked this as well. The tray layout in Samsung is pretty crowded and wastes a lot of useful gaps.The buttons to switch the freezer to normal refrigerator mode can be found with the bottom fridge section.Recommend to buy along with 4-yrs extended warranty, which u can buy directly from LG on delivery.

After Almost 3 months of use…..It’s a Very good refrigerator providing you a very decent storage space at a decent price. Also it is a very reputed company so no worries for servicing.It makes Ice in half and hour and cooling capacity is also fabulous.Overall a very decent Purchase.

It’s a 403 Litre fridge with ONE light:
This is a good looking fridge! From the front especially, mirror finish, dark grey.. but the inside light is pure white, very harsh for me, but revealing which some may prefer. It is VERY poorly lit, just one light on top for the entire fridge! Absurd. The layout is good, with enough options and exactly as per the photo here. The height would be perfect for most people. It is well proportioned with a perfect footprint for a 400 Lt. (27″W x 26″D) However, you DO have to be careful of your toes! It will really hurt if you’re toes get stuck under the door, unless you elevate it by 2″. I’ve elevated mine by 6″ but 2″ would be fine. You get nice, affordable platforms on Amazon and elsewhere, for this. 400 Lt is fine for me and LG’s service is superb! And it has a 10 year warranty! If it were 437 Litres and better lit, it would be GREAT value for money. As it is, it’s good value, not great as it’s pretty basic, which suits me. When repair is needed, the simpler the better. NB: It is L2, which means it consumes a bit more electricity than an L3 and L4 but this does not bother me as it is much cheaper than an L3 or L4! And a good finish means it will scratch easily but that’s true of any fridge that’s well finished. I would say, from my experience, when shopping for a fridge, don’t be a silly kunjoos like me. Spend 5K or even 10K more for a better LG or… I spent 70K on my phone (flagship) and 43K on a fridge! That is truly idiotic! My phone price didn’t occur to me till it was too late. So keep in mind the price of the average phone, which lasts 3 – 5 years tops before becoming obsolete! This will last 10 years, or so it would seem, with a 10 year warranty! (I have not read the fine print on the warranty, so please check that!) I am happy but if you spend time in your kitchen, I would suggest spending a bit more, say L3 with more features and slightly larger perhaps?
