The Waterdrop brand is tried and trusted by more than 6 million US families to provide them with purer, cleaner, safer drinking water. We provide only high quality replacement filters that are certified as reducing a wide range of impurities by WQA, IAPMO, and NSF 401, 53, 42 and 372.
[Comprehensive certification] Waterdrop filters have comprehensive certification from WQA, IAPMO, and NSF 401, 53, 42 and 372. To achieve these standards, the filter cartridge is thoroughly tested to ensure perfect filtration. The NSF 401 certification shows that it significantly reduces levels of ibuprofen, phenytoin, naproxen, estrone, bisphenol A, and nonylphenol. Additionally, it has also achieved the NSF 53 standard for removing mercury, benzene, and lead from water.
[Deep filtration] Waterdrop’s refrigerator filters significantly reduce the levels of many different harmful substances in your water, including chlorine, heavy metals, lead, mercury, odor, large particles, and many other major impurities. The filter additionally allows through many of the beneficial minerals in water that are essential for health.
[Fast water flow, no leaks] Our mission is to supply refrigerator water filters that fit perfectly, impeccably engineered; this sets us apart from inferior models of replacement filters that can frequently result in water leakage problems. The microscopic pore sizes in our filter cartridges, made of superior materials, allow for smooth running, crisp, pure water.
[Carefully chosen materials] Waterdrop uses coconut shell carbon blocks supplied from Sri Lanka that have enlarged surface area and more micropores than inferior carbon blocks. The filter cartridge is far more effective in reducing levels of chlorine, dirt, sediment, rust, and a wide range of heavy metals. In line with our high level of attention to detail, we have chosen a BPA-free and food-grade housing for the filter that exceeds the NSF 372 certification for lead-free filtration.
[Regular filter changes] If you run replacement filter past the recommended date, pollutants could accumulate and filtration performance could suffer. Because of this, we supply a complimentary set of installation stickers with every filter so that you can see at a glance when it needs replacing. We recommend that you should replace your filter after it has been used for 4800 cups of water (300 gallons) or 6 months (this may vary dependent on the water condition in your area).
[Professional standards] Our expert teams pride themselves on not letting any product or part of a product, down to the smallest components, leave our factory unless we are satisfied that they have reached and exceeded the very highest market standards. Our dedication doesn’t just apply within the factory: we have a customer service team ready to answer your questions and deal with any problems 24/7.
[Upgraded Packaging] Waterdrop has always insisted on user-centered, for which we pay attention to every detail of the product. We upgraded the colored packaging box to make the appearance more magnificent. And the use of high-quality materials makes the packaging more sturdy and durable, which can protect the water filter from damage even after a long transportation period.

This is a really great product for the price! The filter was packaged well, came within a timely manner, and was very simple to install. FYI, I’m using this filter as a replacement for a GE RPWFE filter. I simply removed the chip/sticker from my original GE RPWFE filter, stuck the chip/sticker to the back of the filter docking area, and installed this RPWF filter. On my fridge, within the settings i have the option to reset the water filter timer and everything has worked flawlessly. Most importantly, the water filter is doing its job and my water and ice taste great again! Great product and actually really great customer service. I received an extremely friendly email from a customer service rep asking if i had received my package and if i was satisfied with the product. Great service, great product. I’ll be ordering again in 6 months.

I will give 5 stars NOW because it works great. The flow of my water is the best it has ever been. The family says the water tastes great. There is a difference between my tap water taste and what comes out of my refrigerator with this filter. I will update in a few months after use and if the flow remains consistent. Plus , the price is great.UPDATE: Ok, Its been close to two months of use , lots of use , and the flow is starting to reduce. My opinion as to why the flow is slowing down is the type of water I get from our supplier. Tap water has a funny chlorine metal taste. This filter has removed that taste even now. I feel any filter I put in no matter the make or price will do just the same. Everybody has different supplied water and you should take that into consideration before giving this or any filter a bad rating. This filter by far is the cheapest I have run into. So , on that note I will buy this filter again and would only reduce 5 star rating by a half point. I feel that my water supplier is the main culprit.

I ordered it because of the cost. I refuse to pay $50 or $60 for a frig filter. It installed the same, no leaks, water tastes great so far. Its been in for two weeks. Now just waiting to see how long it lasts. Easy to order and fast shipping. I’ll keep using this brand if all goes well. I’ll provide an updated review if it doesn’t.Update: I am now on my second filter and they work great. I ordered and received two more to have available when its time to change. The water tastes just like the bottled water you buy at the store. For the price, its worth it to try.

You aren’t supposed to do this, but if you take the sticker off the original GE that came with it and put it on the correct side of this tube it will work but let you know that it’s time for a replacement because it thinks you’re still using the old one. That because the newer refrigerators require the filter to have a chip in it.The error message seemed to have gone away and I made a recurring reminder in google calendar to tell me every 6 months to change the refrigerator filter same as I do for the HVAC filters. Eventually the sticker will lose it’s stick as I keep moving it to new filters but there’s alway duct tape!Been in the fridge for about 2 months now — no problems, clear water, MUCH CHEAPER.

I used this filter for years and it would go 6 months with no issues. However since end of 2024 quality changed and they don’t last more than 3 months.Even in the beginning it would cause delayed water release, which is normal first few days but now it continues throughout the months.Found another brand, slightly more expensive that works fine as GE RPWF.
