Update – 8 Jan 2022Its more than a year since I purchased it, it is still rocking without a single issue till date. No noise, no heating issue nor any of the accessories are damaged, it still gives the perfect coolness as when it was new, vegetables stay fresh for almost a week, I used my Heinz ketchup for 6 months while it expires in 2-3 months in normal conditions. Most important electricity bills were always normal, they never spiked to absurd numbers after installing refrigerator, Color as good as new, not at all faded. Also, It all brings down to how you maintain it :-)Old review when I bought it:Important advice before starting to use any refrigerator: The copper coil emits poisonous gas which is harmful. So, keep the empty refrigerator running for minimum 7 hours without any food items. And afterwards clean it with a dry cloth using lemon and eating soda mixture. Now start using it.Packaging: Packaging was good but not satisfactory.Outside box was hard enough but inside Foam popcorn was not used on all sides. It was only in frontside and corners. Due to this during transport there was a small dent on side where there was no foam,which chipped off the paint with a visible patch. But I didn’t return as it was negligible for me and didn’t wanted to go with whole process.Delivery:Delivery was very quick but I was not in town hence I had set date in advanced and I got delivered only when I returned. Thanks too local officials for that they didn’t mind. But delivery boys were not professional in handling this kind of product, they don’t understand the senstivity and always in hurry, even broke 2 wall tiles while moving it in.Installation:Within 48 hours from delivery,A service engineer from Samsung will do the installation. All scheduling will happen through samsung customer care and will be handled by Amazon itself. Don’t open the pack till he comes to claim returns if any damages.Product:Price: Value for money. LG comes with same price range but doesn’t have useful features of samsung atleast for this model. I bought it in offer for 33490/- with 10% discount of 1500 on HDFC credit card and a 1250 cashback in Amazon pay. So it cost me around 30740/- which was a bargain price.Features:The highlight is 5 in 1 convertible. You can set your fridge to whatever way you like it. Freezer can be set to fridge if extra space needed or Even set to off. The below fridge can also be set to off if needed(Vacation setting).But fridge cannot be set to freezer :-)Refer the above product description for different settings.Though the converting from one setting to other takes bit time but it’s not more than 20mins.Temperature: 5 different temperatures as per your needs and weather. Freezer can go as cold as -21 degrees and fridge as low as just 1 degree celcius.Power cool and freeze: These are not much useful if your refrigerator already running at peak setting. Other times and during restart or during a party they are useful esp. Power freeze.Space: Mine is a 345l for a family of 4 with frequent guests. And it’s quite spacious you can go for a 273L if you need a extra bottle storage with smaller vegetables box. Vegetable box for this model is big enough for 1 weeks food and easily slides with a push.Shelves: They are toughened glass and hard. You can keep anything but don’t go for too much weight and heavy items. Keep light and small items as many as you can. Can be moved up and down as needed.Cooling and Deodrizer: I am using it for 1 week now, I haven’t noticed any fowl smell. And cooling is top notch evenly distributed across all corners. Try to keep items away from vents to not block the cool air, also don’t add too many items into fridge so it’s not fully pack. Use only 70% space so that it doesn’t affect the cooling functionality. It has kept everything fresh till date. It doesn’t have CoolPack and Freshroom for 2020 models but it’s not a necessary if you don’t have long period current outages in your area. If you need it buy 2019 model.Noise: The first day it will make noise but don’t worry after that it barely makes sound. You won’t hear anything until you are sitting right next to it.Frost free: It’s automatic, you don’t need anything to do. But once or twice a month do it manually. Water is collected in a drain tray at back but You cannot open the backside it fully packed. I contacted the customer care to understand this, they said the water collected is evaporated back in the cooling process. If drain tray is full and water starts leaking don’t waste time contact them.Door alarm: Yes, I haven’t timed this but approximately 2-5min I guess. If you miss this there is will be longer another alarm again in few minutes.Led light: Fridge has a LED light and freezer doesn’t but not necessary I guess. Only if you are taking something from freezer in midnight it’s a concern:-)Looks: It’s awesome! Doors comes with shine finish and side with rough pattern. Color is inox and it’s best, other colors cost extra.Ice cubes: The freezer comes with a ice cube box which has two ice makers and a toughned glass tray. The ice box comes with a twister for easy pull out of ice from the tray. Box is movable and not fixed so when not needed you have more space again:-)Power consumption: Ask someone who have used it for 6 months or year. But I think it doesn’t consume much as stated in description. 2020 models are rated 3 star, 2019 models are 4 star but for your info it’s same. This happened due to change in energy consumption rules by government.No need of stabilizer but still it is recommended if you are in a high electrical fluctuating areas.This range of model is best according to me. Defective product delivered by the seller
The fridge is not working fine. Delivery and installation were fine. However, there is a lot of mist forming inside the fridge. Like on the bottles, on the food vessels. We take care not to keep any food that is hot. We always ensure that food or drinks are at room temperature before we keep them inside the fridge. However, this mist formation occurs. When someone from the team had called us to take a feedback about the functioning of the fridge we had told them clearly about the issue. However there is no resolution. It appears the exercise was just to make us wait till the return window got closed. Now we are stuck with a poor fridge. It appears like a defective piece sold on sale.

I recently purchased the Samsung 350L 3-Star Bespoke AI Refrigerator (Model: RT38DG5A4DS8HL) from Amazon during a festive sale. Previously, I was using a different brand refrigerator but was huge problems in terms of energy consumption, noise, bad odour, etc.I didn’t only manage to get a huge discount on the deal online, but ended up saving a lot of time and hustle, that would have gone in purchasing it from store.1. Oh! the Bespoke AI. It’s not just a refrigerator, it’s actually intelligent. It also provides me energy saving recommendations.2. The 5-in-1 convertible mode- I’ve converted my freezer even into refrigerator, when guests came over and I needed more space for drinks and desserts.3. The Twin Cooling Plus feature keeps the fridge and freezer compartments independent which means there’s no mixing of smells and everything remains just as fresh.4. Smart Things App- I can change the cooling modes, check the fridge status, know when the door got left open and even get maintenance alerts right from my phone, anywhere, anytime.5. The Active Fresh Filter+ ensures that there are no bad odours at all. My vegetables and dairy products last longer, and the fridge smells fresh all the time.6. I use Power Cool quite often. By the time I am done winding my grocery, the beverage is ready to be served super chill.7. Last but not least, the Digital Inverter Compressor is impressively silent.
