Compact and spacious Fridge
We were tired of the large size fridges in our kitchen so we replaced our existing 170 Litre fridge with this 99 Litre wonder from Godrej.It is small and compact, a beautiful cherry colour, so spacious inside. The cooling is very good.It does have a strange feature, as the voltage fluctuates up and down in the electricity supply, it emits a green light near the compressor, apparently to get rid of the extra energy.The additional plus feature is that this fridge can run on an inverter.An update after using it for about one year:* We got a carpenter to make a wooden stool for the fridge, about one foot high. So now we can operate the fridge without bending down.* One drawback of this product is that the freezer just cannot be used. The fridge is not auto-defrost, hence ice tends to build-up inside and around the freezer, and the freezer door is almost always frozen in place. It opens only when the defrost is under process.When the defrost is on, water collects in the white tray (in which I have stored my bananas) and has to be thrown away into the sink at regular intervals. The technician advised me to defrost it every three days, to be able to use the freezer.Even with this drawback, we love our fridge, it’s just ideal for our family of 2 senior citizens.
